The KRG-6 validator for paper tickets is used to mark paper tickets in public transport.
- Validity is indicated by printing a combination of up to sixteen characters (letters, numbers) on the ticket and mechanically destroying it by way of puncturing. The last four elements indicate the exact time. The combination of the remaining characters can be programmed locally or remotely and depends on the specific needs of the user.
- The validator has an automatic heating system, allowing normal operation even at very low temperatures.
- It is equipped with a large, easy to read, 2x16 character LCD with backlighting that displays time, travel zone and special messages to the passenger.
- The device software provides a count of the number of validated tickets, which is particularly important in autonomous operation. The basic version of the validator can be boosted with a Mifare® contactless card reader.
